Refund & Cancellation Policy

DC Hula Girls operates on a strict no-refund policy. By completing any purchase — whether for a class pass, course enrollment, or performance booking — you agree to the terms outlined on this page.

Class Passes & Course Enrollments

All class pass purchases (8-class, 16-class, 24-class, or 32-class packages) are final and non-refundable.

• No refunds will be issued once a pass has been purchased, regardless of attendance or personal schedule changes.
• No proration — passes cannot be partially refunded for missed or unused classes.
• No transfers — passes may not be transferred to another student or applied to a future session unless approved in writing by DC Hula Girls management.
• Unused classes do not roll over and have no cash value.
  
  

Drop-In Classes

Drop-in sessions are available for Tahiti Fit only and require advance RSVP. Space is limited.

• Drop-in fees are non-refundable once payment is submitted.
• If you are unable to attend after paying, your fee cannot be applied to a future drop-in or pass.
• If DC Hula Girls cancels a drop-in session, you will receive a class credit toward a future session.
  
  

Performance & Event Bookings

All performance bookings (luau shows, weddings, corporate events, private parties, etc.) are subject to the following:

• Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances. The deposit secures your date and covers planning and preparation costs.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event forfeit the full contracted amount.
• Cancellations made 15–30 days before the event forfeit the deposit; the remaining balance may be applied as a credit toward a rescheduled date within 6 months.
• Cancellations made 31 or more days before the event forfeit the deposit; the remaining balance will be refunded.
  
  

Trips & Excursions

DC Hula Girls occasionally organizes group trips, retreats, and cultural excursions for our students and community. All trip and excursion payments are final and non-refundable.

• Deposits and full payments are non-refundable once submitted, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
• No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of a trip (lodging, meals, activities, transportation, etc.).
• No transfers — your spot may not be transferred to another person unless approved in writing by DC Hula Girls management.
• If DC Hula Girls cancels or postpones a trip, participants will receive a credit toward a future trip or excursion. No cash refunds will be issued.
• DC Hula Girls is not responsible for personal expenses such as flights, travel insurance, or accommodations booked independently. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.
  
  

Limited Exceptions

The following situations may be considered for a session credit (not a refund) at management’s sole discretion:

• Documented medical emergency — a serious injury or illness preventing participation, supported by a physician’s note
• DC Hula Girls cancels a session — if we cancel without offering a makeup class, affected students receive a class credit
• Duplicate or erroneous charge — accidental billing errors will be corrected promptly; please contact us within 7 days of the charge

Credits are valid for one full session from the date issued, are non-transferable, and have no cash value.

Schedule Changes

DC Hula Girls reserves the right to adjust class times, instructors, or locations as needed. Notice will be provided via our WhatsApp community and email. Schedule adjustments do not entitle students to a refund or credit.
